BENGALURU: Police have arrested six men on charges of barging into a hotel in Ulsoor Gate jurisdiction on February 13 night and vandalising it over a property ownership dispute. The incident took place at SLV Bhavan, Nagarthpet.
According to complainant Padmanabha Kedilaya, who runs the hotel on rent, 10-15 persons led by two prime suspects – Vinod Kumar and Prasanna Kumar – entered the hotel and threatened the workers with weapons. “The accused attacked our workers, dismantled CCTVs and DVRs before ransacking. The property is under dispute and our owner had approached the court in 2015. Though the court had ordered status quo, the accused trespassed,” Kedilaya said. tnn
