SALANPUR: Nine people were injured, including two children, when a stuntman failed to control his balance during a bike stunt show ‘Maut ka Kuan‘ (well of death) and fell on the ground with the two-wheeler at Muktai Chandi Fair at Salanpur in West Burdwan on Sunday evening.
Three of the injured were admitted to Asansol district hospital while the rest were treated and discharged. The stuntman escaped with minor injuries. A group of spectators ransacked the fair’s bamboo camp after the incident.
