Asus ROG Phone 3 price slashed in India – Times of India


NEW DELHI: Smartphone maker Asus launched its latest gaming smartphone — ROG Phone 5 in India recently. After this new launch, the company has slashed the price of its last year launched ROG Phone 3. The ROG Phone 3 has received a second price cut in India. Last year, the smartphone witnessed a price drop of Rs 3,000.
The company has now again slashed the price of 8GB RAM and 12GB variants of the smartphone. The price of the 8GB RAM version is reduced by Rs 5,000. Earlier selling at Rs 45,999, you can now purchase the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant at Rs 41,999.
On the other hand, the 12GB RAM and 128GB storage version has received a price drop of Rs 10,000 and now customers can purchase it at Rs 45,999.
Asus ROG Phone 3 specifications
Asus ROG Phone 3 sports a 6.5-inch full HD+ display with a 1080×2340 pixel resolution. The display features a refresh rate of 144Hz with a 270Hz touch sampling rate and 25ms touch latency. It is protected by Corning Gorilla 6 and can attain a peak brightness level of 1000nits and is 113% DCI-P3 Delta E colour calibrated.
The gaming smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor with Adreno 650 GPU. The smartphone comes in two variants — 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage and 12GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The handset runs Android 10 operating system topped with the company’s own layer of ROG UI.
ROG Phone 3 offers features like IR Triggers, dual USB Type-C ports, dual front-firing speakers, the glowing ROG logo at the back, and some software features like X-mode among others.
In terms of imagining duties, the smartphone features a triple rear camera which comprises a 64MP main sensor with f/1.8 aperture, 13MP 125˚ ultra-wide camera with f/2.4 aperture, and 5MP macro sensor with f/2.0 aperture. The front is home to a 24MP selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture.
The gaming smartphone is backed by a 6000mAh battery with 30W HyperCharge fast charging support and it comes equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor.
