Delhi Finance Minister Kailash Gahlot on Wednesday presented ₹78,800-crore budget for financial year 2023-24 in the Assembly. “The theme of the Budget 2023 is clean, beautiful and modern Delhi”, he said while presenting the Budget after two days of standoff between the Centre and AAP.
The focus of the budget was on enhancing capital’s infrastructure, sanitation, transportation facilities besides the usual focus on health and education. In 2022-23 the Delhi government had presented ₹75,800 crore budget.
