PUNE: Former trustee of the Osho International Foundation and the editor of “Osho World”, Swami Chaitanya Kirti, former trustee Swami Premgeet and over 50 other Osho followers protested at the Osho International Centre in Koregaon Park on Wednesday over several issues and claimed that they were not allowed to enter the commune.
Kirti said, “Many followers came to the centre today to visit the commune as it was Guru Poornima, but the authorities did not give them entry, stating that the norms did not allow it.”
Kirti said, “All the revenue earned from Osho’s intellectual property is diverted elsewhere. The present administration is trying to sell the ashram property.” Another follower, Vandana Jadhav from Nagpur, said, “We also came in March. They denied us entry then too.”
Ma Sadhana, the spokesperson for the Osho International Resort, Pune, said, “The matter regarding the sale of the property is sub judice and I cannot speak about it until the court gives a decision. On the allegation of entry to the international centre, we allow only those who have registered with the commune for entry. We do not allow gate crashers.”
