MANGALURU: In a suspected suicide pact, four of a family were found dead in a lodge in Mangaluru. The incident came to light on Friday morning.
City police commissioner Kuldeep Kumar R Jain said, the incident was reported at Karuna Residency.
As per the preliminary report, the deceased have been identified as Devendra (46) from Vijayanagar in Mysuru, his wife Nirmala and their nine-year-old daughters Chaitra and Chaitanya.
The police commissioner, along with a team of senior officials visited the spot.
A death note has been found and financial problems are suspected to have forced the family to take this extreme step.
