The sarpanches protesting against e-tendering, the right to re-recall act and other demands on Wednesday announced that they will hold a protest at Jantar Mantar in Delhi on April 3.
Haryana Sarpanch Association president Ranvir Singh Gill said they will visit villages from tomorrow to inform people about the wrong policies of the BJP-JJP government.
“With the help of khaps and other people, we will make videography of the tender works, where materials of poor quality have been used. We will also put banners outside villages demanding to take back the right to re-call act and implement Panchayati Raj Act,” he added.
He further said they will hold protests against ruling party MLAs and MPs during their visits to villages across the state.
“If any leader of BJP-JJP tries to enter the villages, he or she would be responsible for any untoward incident,” Gill added.
