Commonwealth Games 2022, Day 11 Schedule: India will look to win Gold medals in badminton, table tennis and men’s hockey on the final day of the Games in Birmingham on Monday, August 8.

India are in the 5th spot in the Commonwealth Games medal table with 55 medals, including 18 Gold medals in Birmingham and the Asian powerhouses will look to add to their tally on the final day of the Games in Birmingham on Monday, August 8.

India have had an unprecedented medal rush on Friday and Saturday and they will hope to end the campaign in Birmingham 2022 on a high.


As many as 5 Gold medals are up for grabs for India on Monday.

Badminton will take center stage as PV Sindhu, Lakshya Sen and Satwiksairaj Rankireddy will go for Gold. While Sindhu, a two-time Olympic medalist, will look to win her maiden Gold medal at the CWG in her final against Michelle Li of Canada, young Lakshya and doubles pair of Satwik and Chirag will want the top prize as well.

All eyes will also be on Achanta Sharath Kamal as the legendary paddler, who has already pocked 3 medals, will look to win his 2nd men’s singles table tennis Gold. Sharath Kamal is assured of his 13th CWG medal but a stiff challenge against Liam Pitchford awaits the star paddler.

India’s men’s hockey team’s Gold medal match against Australia will be the final event of the day for the country. Manpreet Singh’s men, who won Tokyo Olympics bronze, will look to win the country’s first-ever Gold in men’s hockey at the CWG.
