NEW DELHI: Vivo’s standalone brand iQoo has launched its latest iQoo 7 series of smartphones in India. The company entered the Indian market last year with the launch of iQoo 3 smartphone.
The company has now launched two smartphones under the iQoo 7 series — iQoo 7 and iQoo 7 Legend. The iQoo 7 packs Snapdragon 870 processor, while the iQoo 7 Legend is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor.
These are the most affordable smartphones launched with Snapdragon 800 series, claims the company.
Price and availability
The iQoo 7 Legend comes in two variants — 8GB RAM+128GB storage and 12GB RAM+256GB storage priced at Rs 39,990 and Rs 43,990 respectively.
On the other hand, the iQoo 7 comes in three variants — 8GB RAM+128GB storage, 8GB RAM+256GB storage and 12GB+256GB storage priced at Rs 31,990, 33,990 and 35,990 respectively. The smartphone comes in Solid Ice Blue and Strom Black colour options.
Both the smartphones will be up for pre-order on Amazon India and iQoo websites starting May 1.
iQoo 7 Legend specifications
The company has launched the BMW M Motorsport edition of the iQoo 7 Legend smartphone in India. The iQoo 7 Legend smartphone features the tri-colour racing stripes, engraved with the slogan “Fascination Meets Innovation”.
iQoo 7 Legend features a 6.62-inch full HD+ AMOLED display with 1080×2400 pixel resolution. The display offers a 120Hz refresh rate. Being the flagship smartphone is powered by the most powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor paired with 8GB/12GB of RAM.
iQoo 7 Legend offers two storage options — 128GB and 256GB and it runs Android 11 operating system topped with the company’s own OriginOS. The dual SIM smartphone comes equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor.
In the camera department, the iQoo 7 Legend sports a triple rear camera which comprises a 48MP main sensor with f/1.79 aperture, 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture and 13MP portrait camera with f/2.46 aperture. The front houses a 16MP selfie shooter with an f/2.0 aperture.
The smartphone is backed by a 4000mAh battery with 66W flash charge support.

iQoo 7 is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor coupled with 8GB/12GB of RAM. The smartphone comes in two storage options — 128GB and 256GB.
The smartphone runs Android 11 operating system topped with the company’s own layer of FunTouch OS 11. iQoo 7 sports a 6.62-inch full HD+ display with 1080×2400 pixel resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
The smartphone is backed by a 4400mAh battery with 66W fast charging support and houses an in-display fingerprint sensor.
iQoo 7 also features a triple rear camera setup with a 48MP main sensor, 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens and 2MP macro sensor. The front houses a 16MP selfie camera.
