NEW DELHI: The Sardar Patel Covid Care Centre & Hospital at Radha Soami Beas, Chhatarpur, with 500 oxygenated beds will start operations from 10 am on Monday, the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) said on Sunday.
ITBP, designated by the ministry of home affairs as the nodal force for operating the facility and which is deploying its doctors and para-medical staff there, said that as part of the standard operating protocol for admission, patients will have to be referred by the district surveillance officer (DSO) of the respective districts in Delhi. No walk/in admission will be made, it added.
All medical treatment, medicines, food and other facilities will be provided free of cost. Services of stress counsellors will also be provided.
As per the protocol, patients will first need to report at the reception. After initial documentation, their physical examination will be done, following which they will be admitted to the hospital and allotted a bed. A kit will be provided to them after their admission.
Meanwhile ITBP DG S S Deswal on Sunday inspected the ongoing preparations at the hospital.
