BENGALURU: Passengers waiting for trains and the general public can now access a gaming zone at KSR Bengaluru City railway station in Karnataka, said to be the first of its kind in the country.
Indian Railway Stations Development Corporation on Thursday opened a ‘high-tech entertainment centre’ at the station.
SWR Bengaluru divisional railway manager Shyam Singh inaugurated it.

“This centre, named Gamineazy KSR, has been introduced by a 10-year-old gaming company (Gamineazy Entertainment) run by IIM-Ahmedabad alumnus Navin Rajendran and his sister Namitha,” said an SWR release.
An SWR official said the centre features a wide variety of exciting games and experiences, including console gaming, motion gaming, racing cockpits, virtual reality games, and virtual tours. “The gaming zone has been carefully designed with the railways demographic in mind, considering important criteria such as budget and time available to play. Many of the experiences are quick-to-play (3-5 minutes). The pricing starts at a nominal Rs 30 for a quick motion game.
