Named by Variety as one of their 7 Asian Actors to Watch For in 2018, Ludi Lin was born in Fuzhou, China and went to boarding schools in Australia at a young age before immigrating to Canada. He graduated from the University of British Columbia majoring in Theatre Performance and Dietetics. In addition, he has also extended studies of film and tv acting in Los Angeles. He is fluent in English, Chinese Mandarin and Cantonese.
Proficient in the martial arts; Muay Thai, Jiu-Jitsu and Olympic style wrestling, Ludi is among the most sought-after talent for Hollywood action films. His film career has been noticed by the entertainment industry in both Asia and North America. Ludi’s film credits include “Aquaman” with Jason Mamoa, “Saban’s Power Rangers” as Zack, “Black Mirror Season 5”, the Chinese Netflix series “Ghost Bride” and most recently “Mortal Kombat” as Liu Kang.
Ludi features in the CW Network TV show KUNG FU, it has been renewed for a third season.
When he has time off from filming, Ludi enjoys cooking vegan foods, working out at the gym and supporting various causes.
