NEW DELHI: The Delhi high court on Monday directed the Centre to look into the aspect of shortage of oxygen supply in Delhi hospitals on urgent basis.
The court directed Centre and the AAP govt to file affidavits by Tuesday disclosing hospital-wise availability of beds for Covid-19 patients.
“Centre, Delhi govt to give details of numbers of beds in hospitals here, with or without ventilators and oxygen support,” the HC said.
Slammed the Centre, Delhi govt for failing to contain the migrant exodus during last year’s lockdown and said that “there are lessons to be learnt.”
The HC also revoked the Delhi govt’s direction on action against labs for not delivering Covid-19 test reports within 24 hours.
