While the state’s ‘One State One Uniform’ policy will be implemented in this academic year, students entering class 1 and those taking new admissions will have to make do with only one set of uniform for a while as the state is releasing funds for only one of the two sets of free uniforms. Two sets of free standardised uniforms have been allocated for students from class 1 to 8 in all government and civic schools in the state.It was, however, decided that the identical attire on the lines of scout and guide uniform would be worn on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, as a number of schools have given orders for their respective uniforms.
