MANGALURU: A police head constable attached to Konaje police station in Mangaluru died of a heart attack when he was on duty on Saturday.
The deceased cop — Jagannath P (44) — hails from Savanoor in Puttur.
He is survived by his wife and two daughters.
City police commissioner N Shashi Kumar said Jagannath fell sick while on duty and was rushed to a nearby private hospital.
