INDORE: Three policemen, including an officer, were injured when a crowd watching Ramleela in a village in MP’s Ratlam attacked them for trying to stop the celebration past midnight on Wednesday.
Over 200 people, including 70 women, had gathered in Bardiya Rathore village, about 10km from Alot town, for the Ramleela on Wednesday night, said SP Gaurav Tiwari. Even at 1am, the Ramleela was on with a DJ playing full blast and the crowd showing no regard for Covid precautions or the night curfew that’s in force across the state, said police.
