MUMBAI: A 6-foot-long snake was rescued on the ground floor of Bombay high court premises on Friday. It was found in justice Amit Borkar’s chamber, said an official. It is not known if the snake was a venomous one.
In the above picture, one of the rescuers is holding the snake outside the judge’s chamber as several people clicked photographs. The snake rescue caused some stir as news went viral online.
Bombay high court has this month gone fully virtual and is hearing matters online for three hours only for extremely urgent matters. The snake will be released into its natural habitat.
