Mumbai: Crane on metro duty falls while installing girder, operator dies | Mumbai News – Times of India

MUMBAI: A crane operator died after the 500-tonne capacity vehicle tilted over and collapsed at Kanjurmarg on Jogeshwari-Vikhroli Link Road while a girder of the Metro rail line was being installed around 6.30am on Sunday.
Lovedeep Ravindra Singh (35) had to be extricated from the fallen crane on MMRDA duty.
He was declared dead before admission to Rajawadi Hospital, Ghatkopar.
An accidental death report has been filed.
