TOI is in possession of the FIR in which MP Sanjay Raut’s name has been named as the accused.
The complainant told TOI that she had submitted the audio clip to the ED long back and it got leaked three days ago. The woman filed the complaint after the alleged call from Raut on November 22, 2016, was circulated on social media.
In the complaint, the psychologist said: “I got introduced to Raut and his family in 2007 after I started writing a column for the Marathi newspaper in which Raut is the editor. The incident occurred in 2016, I was travelling in my car when I received a call from the mobile number that belongs to Raut. When I picked up the call, Raut hurled abuses and threatened I will show your ‘layki’, and asked me to transfer the plot to my husband or his (Raut) name.”
