MUMBAI: The Covid-19 graph in the state continued to climb, with the 437 cases detected on Saturday, according to the state Covid update. Two deaths were registered, one each in Kolhapur and Aurangabad, taking the monthly toll so far to 15.
In Mumbai, the daily tally was 105, crossing the 100-mark after five months, and 10 people were hospitalised on Saturday.
Around 90% of these patients were asymptomatic, and only one needed oxygen support. The total number of hospitalised patients in the city now stands at 32, including 20 who need oxygen support, said the BMC daily Covid update.
Out of the 437 cases in the state, 207 were reported from the Mumbai circle and another 138 cases from the Pune circle. Most other districts had less than 10 cases to report.
