Nokia reportedly working on a 5G phone with 108MP camera – Times of India

HMD Global-owned Nokia is reportedly planning to add a new smartphone to its 2021 5G phone series. The company recently launched Nokia X10 5G and Nokia X20 5G smartphone and is now working on another 5G phone. According to a report by Nokiapoweruser, the phone will succeed the Nokia 8.3 5G and has been in the works for some time.

According to a report by Nokiapoweruser, the phone will succeed the Nokia 8.3 5G and has been in the works for some time.
It is expected that the upcoming Nokia phone will feature a penta camera design. The phone’s camera system may consist of a 108MP primary camera paired with other sensors like ultra-wide, depth, macro and telephoto. The smartphone is rumoured to feature Zeiss optics.
The handset is likely to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 775 processor. Similar to its successor, the device may come equipped with OZO Audio tech.
Another expected feature of the upcoming Nokia phone is the 6.5-inch QHD+ display with PureView display V4. The smartphone’s display may offer 120Hz refresh rate.
On the battery front, the handset is rumoured to be backed by a 6000mAh battery capacity. The new Nokia phone may come with support for 22watt fast charging.
The report suggests that Nokia may launch the new smartphone in the second half of 2021. Although it is expected to be a successor to Nokia 8.3 5G, it may come with a new name. It could be launched as Nokia X50 or something similar, the report adds.
