NEW DELHI: Smartphone maker Oppo launched its latest A-series smartphone in India. Dubbed Oppo A54, the smartphone succeeds the last year launched Oppo A53 smartphone. The budget smartphone comes with a starting price tag of Rs 13,490 and comes with IPX4 rating which makes it splash resistant.
The smartphone sports a HD+ display and is powered by MediaTek Helio P35 processor. The dual SIM handset runs Android 10 operating system topped with the company’s own layer of ColorOS 7.2.
Oppo A54 comes equipped with a 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support and offers a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The smartphone comes with a 16MP selfie camera and a 13MP triple rear camera setup.
The smartphone will definitely face competition from its predecessor which is selling at a starting price tag of Rs 12,990 and runs on the same software version. Oppo A53 also sports a HD+ display and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. It is also backed by the same 5,000 mAh battery.
