Oppo A74 5G expected to launch in India this month – Times of India

NEW DELHI: It appears that smartphone maker Oppo is all set to launch its new A-series smartphone in India soon. According to a tipster, Oppo will launch the Oppo A74 5G in India this month.
Tipster Abishek Yadav revealed in a tweet that Oppo will launch the Oppo A74 5G smartphone in India by the end of this month. He further added that the company will price the smartphone under Rs 20,000.
The company has already launched the smartphone in Thailand and it is expected to launch the same variant in India.
Oppo A74 5G expected specifications
The Oppo A74 5G is said to run Android 11 operating system topped with the company’s own layer of ColorOS 11.1. The smartphone is said to house a 6.5-inch full HD+ display with 1080×2400 pixel resolution.
Oppo A74 5G is expected to be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 processor. The smartphone is said to pack 6GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage.
Oppo A74 5G is said to sport a quad-rear camera setup with 48MP main sensor with f/1.7 aperture, 2MP macro, 2MP depth and 8MP ultra-wide angle lens. The smartphone is said to house an 8MP camera in the front for selfies.
The smartphone is said to be backed by a 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.
Recently, Oppo started rolling out Android 11 update for its Reno2 Z smartphone in India. The company is rolling out the update in batches and you can manually check for the update by going to Settings > Software Updates.
With the Android 11 update, the Oppo Reno2 Z users will be able to experience features like default screen recorder, better media controller, native smart home control, one-time permission to apps, security fixes via Google Play and others. Along with this, the smartphone will also get ColorOS 11 update.
