Tiger 3 is the third instalment of the Tiger franchise and the sixth film in the YRF Spy Universe. The upcoming movie follows the events of Tiger Zinda Hai, War, and Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan. In Shah Rukh Khan’s Spy Universe outing, Salman made a cameo appearance in the film as R.A.W agent Tiger. In Tiger 3, Shah Rukh Khan will make a cameo, leaving their fans in awe.

On Yash Raj Films’ founder Yash Chopra’s birth anniversary, the production kick-started the promotional campaign of Tiger 3 with the teaser. The film sees Salman reprise his iconic role of superspy Avinash ‘Tiger’ Rathore and is set to release this Diwali. Tiger 3 also stars Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi along with Shah Rukh Khan in a cameo, reprising his role from Pathaan, further bringing together the two films from the YRF Spy Universe. Tiger 3 is also expected to have links to War, the Hrithik Roshan-starrer which is also a part of Aditya Chopra’s ambitious spy universe.

While the YRF Spy Universe canonically began with Ek Tha Tiger (2012), it wasn’t until Pathaan, which was released earlier this year, that YRF merged Tiger, War, and Pathaan together to form one coherent cinematic universe. Maneesh Sharma-directed Tiger 3 will be released in cinemas on Diwali 2023.
