This is how Samsung Galaxy A22 may look like – Times of India



NEW DELHI: Samsung is all set to launch a new A-series smartphone in India. Recently, Samsung Galaxy A22 smartphone received BIS certification in India, which hints that the company will soon launch the smartphone in the country.
Now the upcoming smartphone appeared online in new CAD-based renders leaked by OnLeaks. The new render shows the phone from all the different angles revealing its design. As per the leaked images, the yet-to-launch Samsung Galaxy A22 will come with a 6.5-inch Infinity-V display. This is different from the last year launched Galaxy A21, which came with an Infinity-O display.
The smartphone is said to measure 167.2 x 76.4 x 8.7~9.7mm and come with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The images also show a 3.5mm audio jack which is placed at the bottom.
Earlier rumours revealed that Samsung Galaxy A22 is said to feature a quad-rear camera setup with a 48MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2MP macro and a 2MP depth sensor. The handset is also said to feature a 13MP selfie shooter.
The company is expected to launch both 4G and 5G variants of the smartphone in the country. Rumours also suggest that the 5G variant is expected to be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset.
Samsung Galaxy A22 is said to run Android 11 operating system topped with the company’s own layer of Samsung One UI.
Meanwhile, Samsung is all set to launch its Galaxy M42 5G smartphone in India. The company has confirmed that it will launch the smartphone in India on April 28.
Samsung Galaxy M42 5G will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G mobile processor. The device will come with the company’s Know security defence system, along with features like AltZLife, and Content Suggestions. It will also be equipped with Samsung Pay to facilitate online payments.
