“I thank the central leadership for giving me the opportunity. I will try to do my best as the state unit chief, and keep exposing the AAP,” Sachdeva said.

The appointment of Sachdeva has come just over a year before the 2024 Lok Sabha polls.

In the last Lok Sabha elections, when Manoj Tiwari was the Delhi BJP chief, BJP had won all seven seats.

Along with Delhi, state party presidents of Bihar, Rajasthan and Odisha were also announced.
