Cost savings, high proportion of lease expiry in the next three years and hybrid work models are some of the factors that will boost the flexible office space segment, said Neetish Sarda, founder, Smartworks.
“According to a report, 30% of all office spaces will be flexible by 2030. The pandemic has paved the way for new work models, prompting various organisations to re-evaluate their real estate needs. Large centralized offices will soon be a thing of the past. Many companies are changing the pandemic model of ‘work from home’ to the ‘work near home’ model, offering maximum flexibility,” he said.
